Background -- Proposition 187
Many lower federal courts manifest their disdain for the popular will of the people by arrogantly overturning the wishes of the majority of the voters expressed in statewide referenda. A single Jimmy Carter-appointed federal judge, Mariana Pfaelzer, in 1994 nullified California Proposition 187, which would have prohibited giving taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens. Proposition 187 received five million votes, but it was nullified by only one federal judge.

But Mariana Pfaelzer's ruling was not the last word. Proposition 187 was on its way to the Supreme Court for the final ruling, but Mariana Pfaelzer stalled the process long enough for then Governor Gray Davis to kill the proposition -- more accurately, kill the people's vote. Proposition 187 never had its day in court! This outrageous action by Governor Gray Davis was enough for outraged citizens to call for the recall of Davis. Glenn Spencer of American Patrol launched a recall, but American Patrol had to raise too many petition signatures in too short of a time with limited financial resources, and the recall failed to get the necessary number of names on the recall petition (a second recall of Davis in 2003 succeeded because the sponsor had sufficient financial backing, including the backing of Congressman Darryl Issa who alone contributed $1 million).

Again in 2004, the new Proposition 187 by the Save Our State campaign failed to get the necessary number of names on the petition due to insufficient time and funds.

Our mission and Objective
CaliforniaVoteBank.com was launched for the people of California by activist Hal Netkin as an online name gathering system for a database of registered California voters to fight the politicians and bureaucrats whose agendas do not represent the wants of the people.

To assure the success of future recalls, referenda, and initiatives, CaliforniaVoteBank.com was created to give the power of the petition back to the people -- and out of the hands of the political bankers.

We protect your privacy
The only information we require is your name, email address, and the city and county where you live. We do not require your street address or telephone number. Names or any other information are not posted on this or any other site. No registered member will ever know who any other registered member is. And under no circumstances will we provide or sell to any other organization any information that you have provided to us without your permission.

Registration Requirements
You must be a California registered voter.

How it works
CaliforniaVoteBank.com collects names, email addresses; and the name of your city and county where you are registered as a voter; and stores your information in our Voter Bank. When our politicians fail to represent the people and an initiative is launched to fight back, CaliforniaVoteBank.com will put you together with the organizers of the initiative by providing you with all the information, downloads and links to get on the petition for whatever initiative is at issue at that time -- all done from you home. If you choose at any time not to participate in a particular campaign, simply do nothing.

What we support
We support the enforcement of our federal, state, and city laws. If our elected leaders refuse to enforce our laws, we will recall them. If we don't agree with a law, we will strive to change it through the political process with your help.

Our goal
A database of 1,000,000 potential voters by 2008.
